Our MISSION
The Mission of Yokota Church is to see each individual, as well as our church, fulfill the Mission of Jesus to Make Disciples who Make Disciples, and to do so by Loving Everyone with the love of Jesus
Our Mission comes directly from the words of Jesus:
1. The Great Commandment
Mark 12:30–31
30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’
31 “The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
2. The Great Commission
Matthew 28:19–20
19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
